WALLHEAD WINS AGAIN
Judo Jim Wallhead continues to impress on the UK MMA scene with another impressive win over a tough experienced fighter. Surely Judo Jim is ready for the big time. 2008 will be a huge year for the young Rough House Welterweight.
For the main event at Cage Warriors "Enter the Rough House 4" Judo Jim Wallhead faced off against the UFC veteran Steve Lynch from the UFR Fight Team.
As soon as referee Marc Goddard set the fight underway Lynch found himself on his back after a textbook takedown by Wallhead. After quickly transitioning to side control Wallhead started to deliver some effective elbows before securing the mount. Lynch was now in trouble with Wallhead landing some devasting ground and pound, hoping to evade further punishment Lynch turned giving up his back but before he could work any escapes Wallhead quickly sunk in his hooks and applied the fight finishing rear naked choke.
